Introducing the UCI ECCLPs Campus Task Force
Co-led by the ECCLPs and UCI Sustainability Resource Center to develop and implement regional solutions that support local PK-12 school districts and communities.
Our Purpose
UCI ECCLPs Task Force members will have the opportunity to cultivate ideas, develop insight, and give feedback on our local environmental and climate change needs. Bringing together unique perspectives and diverse expertise to develop solutions and contribute to meaningful impact in local school districts and communities.
Create a cross-sector, cross-job campus network to develop interdisciplinary approaches to advancing PK–12 climate and environmental literacy, justice, and action
Leverage knowledge from ECCLPs’ statewide initiative to demonstrate implementation on a regional level
Build partnerships with Orange County Department of Education, local school districts, and community-based partners
Identify and equitably respond to regional needs of educators, districts, and community-based partners
Identify and advance relevant research opportunities
