Dear ECCLPs Supporter,
As we continue to organize initiatives, we will be seeking individuals to support the executive director and advance PK–12 climate and environmental justice literacy. Application information for the following opportunities will be shared when available:
UC Irvine Endowed Chair: September 2023 estimated start date.
3 committee directors: committee focus areas are research, teaching and learning, and community-based partners. Late January 2023 estimated start date.
42 committee members: 14 per committee. April 2023 estimated start date.
In collaboration with Change Narrative, we invite you to share your climate story with the possibility of being featured in future monthly newsletters. We acknowledge that climate change is now part of the human experience and we wish to share personal experiences to bring awareness and action to injustices. Your story can be in the form of a written narrative, artwork, or poetry piece.

The CSU Race Against the Climate Crisis article shares the various research across CSU campuses that focus on combating and mitigating the harmful effects of greenhouse gas emissions.
Los Angeles Unified School District is inviting Southern California climate change organizations to partner with them for their series of virtual PK–12 STEM field trips.Contact Heinrich Sartin STEM Coordinator (heinrich.sartin@lausd.net) regarding registration for these virtual events.
Invest in Climate Literacy, Justice, and Action
A gift to this UC–CSU initiative is an investment in the partnerships and strategies that will educate all of California’s high school graduates to be literate in climate and environmental justice issues and solutions.
