Dear Colleague ,

A HUGE thank you to everyone who signed our urgent call to include education in the National Climate Assessment ! With the support of our amazing partners, we collected 777 signatures to center on the importance of education. This is a major step in climate change education, and we hope that through this collective effort, all PK-12 students will receive a comprehensive, action-driven and hopeful climate change education. Together, we can activate and propel the next generation to address, mitigate, and help drive solutions to the climate emergency!

Calling All Pre-Service Field Supervisors Supporting Pre-service Teacher Candidates: Join Us for an Interactive Workshop!

Shaping Our Future Together: Participate and Share the ECCLPs' Community-based Partners Survey!

Attention all community-based partners and organizations! We are creating space for individuals to share insights on opportunities and challenges currently faced to guide the strategic direction of ECCLPs CBP projects and initiatives through the Community-Based Partners Committee Listening Survey .


A key focus of the work is on equity and justice —core pillars of our efforts to center the needs of historically marginalized communities. Additionally, we aim to capture the progress seen in environmental education as indicated by community-based partners working directly with community members.


By participating, you will help us ensure that our efforts meet the evolving needs of our community, fostering stronger collaborations and achieving impactful results. Together, we can make a significant difference.

New UC-CSU Undergraduate Research Internship and Graduate Mentor Opportunities!

Calling all undergraduate and graduate students! We invite you to register for our ECCLPs UC & CSU Research Internship Program ! This one-year academic internship program is designed to introduce undergraduate students to research opportunities alongside UC and CSU faculty and staff from various campuses. Participants will engage in structured training sessions, networking opportunities and hands-on experiences tailored to enhance their skills and knowledge, specifically focusing on climate education in California. Undergrads need no prior research experience to join!


Graduate students, we encourage you to apply! Are you a graduate student at a UC or CSU interested in mentoring your peers and undergraduate students? Join us as a mentor to support the undergraduate participants in this internship. All graduate students will recieve a small honorarium for their time and expertise!
