Dear ECCLPs supporter ,

As we celebrate the beginning of National Indigenous Peoples month, we humbly express our deep appreciation and respect for those who have been and who continue to be stewards of this land since time immemorial.

We are thrilled to share the Indigenous Peoples Resource Kit , thoughtfully assembled by Diversify Our Narrative . This resource highlights incredible organizations such as Save California Salmon who are committed to preserving the environment and history. Another resource we want to highlight is PBS' video series called, " Tending Nature" which seeks to elevate the importance of traditional ecological knowledges of the Indigenous peoples of California.

To the incredible Indigenous leaders providing their knowledge and wisdom to support ECCLPs, we sincerely thank you and we look forward to our continued work together to re-envision 21st century climate and environmental literacy, justice, and action!

In addition, we are thrilled to announce our upcoming annual statewide virtual forum symposium on May 3, 2024 , from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM PST . This year's theme is " Collaborating for Change: Bridging the Gap in Climate and Environmental Literacy, Justice, and Action across PK-12, Higher Education, and Community Partners. " Join us for a day filled with inspiration, learning, and collaboration, featuring incredible speakers, PK-12 student showcases, engaging sessions, immersive experiences and networking opportunities. Keep an eye out for our upcoming call for proposals and registration details releasing at the end of November!
